El caso es que siempre que me sumerjo en el submundo (o universo si queréis llamarlo así) de Lynch descubro más y más puntos de conexión...a los que todavía no consigo dar sentido. Pero oye, ser consciente de ello es un primer paso. Habitaciones rojas, tipos extraños que aparecen en las esquinas, escaleras, jazz (mucho jazz) y lloros espontáneos. Pero lo que hasta ahora no me había llamado la atención como nexo de unión de su obra es el café. Escenas donde el café se vuelve protagonista, por el elevado estándar al que le someten los personajes en escena.
¿Me estaré convirtiendo poco a poco en un personaje de Lynch? ¿Un agente Cooper cualquiera? O peor aún, ¿en un mafioso del mundo del cine? No lo creo, pero si hace unos días hablaba del Starbucks como alternativa (eso ya de por sí me deja fuera de la élite cafetera) llevo semanas consciente de mi nueva adición. Café a todas horas es la consigna. Y cuanto más cargado mejor. Por suerte el café de la oficina es francamente bueno y los fines de semana tengo, como ya dije, la cafetería de la esquina.
